Video Drone that Flies Itself

Video Drone

Is it a CCTV Cam that fly because of the typhoon? LOL NO

This is one of some awesome innovation, "Video Drone that flies itself"? WOW
well it's still a prototype :o

Two Silicon Valley start-ups are hoping to change the way sports enthusiasts capture their best moments on camera. The Hexo+ and the Airdog drones autonomously follow the user from the skies, tracking their position from either a smartphone (Hexo+) or a wrist-worn device (Airdog) and also record our activity like when we snow boarding, bicycling, surfing and many other else (Recommended to stalk ur playboy's bf  =D  LOL) .

Wrist-worn device and Video Drone

Each has a camera-equipped stabilising rig, can fly for about 10-15 minutes on a single battery and can travel up to speeds of around 40mph. We also can set the distance between the user and the video drone using the device ( either a smartphone (Hexo+) or a wrist-worn device (Airdog) ).

It also has an ability to detect some dangerous thing and dodge it  (like trees or some high things) so it will not crashed. But please dont try throw a baseball's ball to check it's ability LOL =_=
Ah, In the device there is a button to switch it off and stop it immiditially when danger / emergency.

Well it's still not suggest for crowded place ofc. And for different situation and sports there will be specific program mount that really increase safety.

The BBC's North America tech correspondent Richard Taylor took the Airdog for a whirl - and met its Latvian founder and chief executive Edgars Rozentals.
